In a back room, preparations were being made for an auction
of all sorts of bits and pieces related to gambling. Two men
behind a counter seemed to be in charge of proceedings, so
I asked if they had any idea what might have happened to
Lee's "personal" memorabilia. I explained to them that I had
sent Lee Dad's army medals back in the 50's and had always
wondered where they might have ended up. (Needless to say,
I wasn't too popular for having made that little gift.) One of
the men told me that a lady at Caesar's Palace would be the
best person to ask, but unfortunately we didn't have time to
go back there.
