Bill had wanted to see Celine Dion's show while we were in Las Vegas,
but it was all sold out. We'd looked online a couple of weeks earlier,
and had been going to book it then, but were unsure of what our
moves would be. As it turned out, it was a good thing we hadn't
because the night we were leaning towards was the first night,
the 12th... when Bill wasn't there yet !
So we'd decided to see Phantom
of the Opera instead, and had
excellent seats in the third row of the stalls... on the 14th.
We arrived back from our canyon trip just in time to clean up
and grab a coffee before the show.
The Las Vegas production is only 90 minutes long, so after the show,
the night was still young and we hit the Strip to partake of some more
Vegas night life.
The beam of light that
emanates from the top of the Luxor pyramid
is said to penetrate two miles into the night sky.
Bellagio by night.
Time for the show.
