In keeping with a
southern hemisphere Christmas,
Surfers Paradise Management has commissioned this awesome
Christmas themed sand sculpture providing a festive backdrop
for your summer beach activities.
Stunning by day and mystical when lit by night.
Dates: 8th Dec - 8th Jan
Facts: Made from 25
tonnes of sand.
Heavy sand is used, each grain is square and tightly compacted for carving.
Can last up to 3 months and withstand 2 solid days of rain.
Took 2 world class sculptors 5 days to carve.
6 inflatable tetrahedron lights, created by Spectacle Art Inc.
