Your smile through the showers, like a rainbow
Melted away all my pain.
The touch of your hand felt so warm,
As our lips met once again.

We walked, hand in hand like young lovers,
Blind to the crowded street.
So much love we needed to share
To make our lives complete.

We sat and we talked for a short while
Of our lives, our hopes, our plans.
Our dreams of being together,
The future was in our hands.

But sometimes this world can be cruel,
Time was not on our side.
There was nowhere to be alone,
No place that we could hide.

Once more, stolen moments together
Were all we had, this time.
Some day we'll have it all,
Your pleasure will be mine.

The time that we had was so precious,
I prayed it would never end...
You left me with sweet memories,
And goodbye came too soon again.
