"Upstairs,
via the dogleg staircase, is the gallery.
Take care as you go up there - the stairs are steep
and it is somewhat dark.
In old churches like this it was intended that the choir
sing from the gallery. It is now mainly used by photographers !
It is a good vantage point for concerts and holds the overflow
at crowded services."
