I never thought I could be so
thankful for air conditioning ! That last night in Spain was blissfully
cool,
but I still didn't sleep well.
Maybe it was because I was anticipating the long trek home the next day...
which actually became two days ! We left Madrid at 10am on the Friday, and
flew to Frankfurt, where we had a 2.5 hour wait for the flight to
Bangkok.
By the time we arrived in
Bangkok, it was 6.45 am Saturday, and then because of the time difference again,
we didn't get to Sydney until 9pm, had a short wait while the plane was cleaned
and refuelled, and then onto Melbourne just before midnight.
So it took from 10am Friday
until midnight Saturday to get home !
