Brad's friend Simon in Manchester.
He and Wayne, who is standing on the
footpath here, are renting this house (the one in the middle with the door open)
from Derek's partner, Beryl. Derek (you'll meet him when we get to Spain
!) is Simon's uncle. These terraced
houses are soooo tiny...
... this is just about all
there is to the ground floor... loungeroom, kitchen and staircase which goes up
to two tiny bedrooms and a bathroom.
That's Derek's grandfather
clock, which he picked up and took to Spain during the time we were in Finland.
Oh, he took that fridge too !
When Beryl bought this house,
she had it completely gutted and refurbished. This is the new kitchen. Those
dishes are nothing to do with me... they're from the boys !
