This was the chapel, dedicated to St Julitte, which was built around AD 1000 and was still in use in 1483, long after the castle was a ruin. Camelot is in the background again.

This is Merlin's Cave, which goes right through the cliff to the other side. The guide recommended wandering through it, but said to watch the ocean, as the cave is totally submerged at high tide !

Almost every time I wanted to take a photo of Bill, he had the video camera in front of his face !
