From Dover, we headed westward,
to the historical coastal village of Tintagel,
in Cornwall. This place is magical ! Legend has it that this was the birthplace
of King Arthur, of Round Table fame...

The village...
Souvenir shop. The steep
pathway on the left leads down to the castle....
... but we were too early. It
didn't open until 10am, so we explored a little...
... and sampled the local
wares. Mmmmm... Cornish pasties for
elevenses... at 9.30am !
(Mine was of the vegetarian
variety, of course !)
