This was taken through the window of the moving car... hence the black edge... sorry !
The white cliffs of Dover... as in Vera Lynn's famous wartime song. I didn't see any bluebirds over them though.

Can't remember the name of this pretty little church in Dover... wish that darned info board hadn't been in the way though.
 
 
This was a classic. I missed the best Kodak opportunity of my entire life while we were having lunch at a cafe on Market Square. (Notice Dover Castle in the background.)
See those two little boys... ? Well... their mums were having a pint over there at the pub, and these two little darlings were having a bit of a paddle in the fountain. They'd been running around there for quite a while when I looked up from my salad roll and cappuccino to see them with their pants around their ankles, balancing on the edge, doing what naked little boy statues do in fountains ! It was a scream ! And that's exactly what their mums did when they saw them !
