This pub, The Three Tuns, is
one of the places I remember from my high school days, not because I used to
hang out there, but because we used to wait on the corner for the bus to go home
! The road we were on here is Farnham Road, and the one where those vehicles are
is Bath Road,
which is an old Roman road. Our school was in a lane off that road.
Unfortunately, Slough High
School for Girls has long since been demolished and there is now an
industrial estate on the site. Old school photos are here.
Eventually got to our hotel in Datchet,
freshened up and then caught the train (station is just behind the hotel) into
London.
These were taken from the London Eye. Last time we were there, they
were just building this and had the huge wheel laid out on the banks of the Thames.
