More about the Great Bath


Just pretending... honest !!!

Roof fragment. Hollow box tiles were used to reduce the weight of the heavy roof
and insulate the baths. The curved roof tiles formed an outer covering to protect
the roof from the weather.

Before leaving we tried the  Spa Water in the Pump Room.
Well, Bill didn't want to try it and I ended up with Maggi's
as well as my own !
