Back on the road again, on
our mission to visit the little village with the big name.

Britannia
Bridge crosses the Menai Strait to Anglesey
where we stopped at....
... Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch...
(did I spell that correctly ? I should have... I've known the spelling
since I was
about seven years old !) It's known as Llanfair
PG, but the townsfolk are obviously
proud of its full name because it's written on just about every building.
Hard to see here, but it's over that entrance on the left.
And here on the
railway station, of course.
The name and
pronunciation are on the board on the platform.
Want to hear a Welshman
saying it ?
This shop has the
translation.

Couldn't pass up this photo opportunity !
It's everywhere you
look !
