The castle is linked by the Millennium Subway to Tullie House

We didn't have time to visit there, but we did walk through the subway.
The Bishop's Stone.
Gee, my shorts look daggy !!
This and all the Cathedral photos are Bill's photography.

This flowerbed commemorating their centenary was planted by the Carliol Choir
outside Carlisle Cathedral.

Members of the Carliol Choir will also be testing out their green fingers this Thursday (22 June) at 3pm when they also help make Carlisle bloom.

The raised flowerbed at the Cathedral's Castle Street entrance will be planted with over 9,000 bedding plants by Choir members and Carlisle City Council's Green Space team to commemorate the Choir's Centenary anniversary.

The carpet bed is made up of plants with varying foliage colours including Alternanthera, Pyrethrum and Helichrysum. It is an eye-catching part of the city centre and a firm favourite with residents and tourists alike.
