Further along the road we stopped at another Roman
Fort.
It's a long way up there !
Bill went on ahead so he could take a photo of us struggling up the hill.
The weather had cooled slightly as we were heading north, and now up
on
this craggy hill, the wind was blowing a gale.
But the effort was well rewarded. This site is truly incredible.
