Bekonscot

Another place we had  visited back in 1960 (6th pic) was Bekonscot, the model village
in Beaconsfield, which is "just down the road" from West Wycombe.


I remembered quite vividly, Dad commenting to Mum "Look at the racecourse. They even
have the bookie running away from the punters !" ..... and they still have it there !

A house under construction.


Railways abound.


A replica of Enid Blyton's Beaconsfield home.




There's even a house on fire, with the fire brigade in attendance !
