A half dead Evergreen
Alder was removed from here (you can just
see where it was grubbed out in the first photo) and mulch was laid.
Another
dead Evergreen Alder bites the dust.
The
rest of the photos are just of the new mulch in all the other areas.

This
is the rest of Luke's Garden. I avoided the pond because it's yucky
at the moment. We planted Bromeliads in the trunks of the dead ferns.
We also put in three new tree ferns last autumn, but the drought and
water restrictions weren't kind to them and they gave up the ghost.
