We checked into our hotel and then went for a walk.
This was taken in Riverside Park.

A band was just tuning up in the bandshell
for its performance at Music in the Park.

Friday 6th August 2004...

...and we're off again, this time with a much smaller train,
to Jasper. This area had been burned out by a large bushfire.

We're now following the North Thompson River
and have left the Cascade Ranges behind us 
as we head for the Canadian Rockies.
