Taylor Park, St Helens 25th August 1960
This park is just a few minutes' walk from where
my grandparents lived in Knowsley Road.

We took another trip to the Lake District on 26th August 1960.
Sally had been told we were "going to the mountains" so when we 
stopped for a break in Milnthorpe and she saw this monument, 
she claimed it as her mountain.
