North Wales 1955

Mum, Bob, Tina and Maggi
This was my very favourite dress of all time.
It was a really pretty shade of mauve,
with white bands around the skirt.
The little V shapes on the front had tiny mauve buttons.

I think this was at Burnham Beeches, around 1956
Lassie, the most intelligent dog I've ever known,
with Mike Lewis, Maggi, Tina, Mum and Bob

Mum, Lassie and Maggi
Burnham Beeches is within walking distance of where we lived,
and has been used as a location for Robin Hood, amongst other movies.

I have no idea where these two were taken, around 1956.
Mum had been at my hair again !!
She used to spend hours trying to make it curl,
but it was usually straight again by the next day,
even when she permed it !

Wherever we were, it was cold and windy.

Anglesey , North Wales 1956
Mum, Bob, Tina, Maggi and Pete.
The five (oops... sorry Pete, six... !) of us stayed in that cruddy little caravan,
while Uncle Ken, Auntie Dorothy and Lynda grabbed the nice big newer one.
I took my autographed photo of Liberace (in its gold painted frame
that Dad made) on this holiday.
I had it standing in front of the open window one night and in the morning
Dad found it on the ground under the window.

Mum, Auntie Dorothy, Bob, Lynda, Tina and Maggi... and Pete's back !
