Aboriginal rock paintings high up on the cliff face.

It was a rocky hike but not too strenuous.

Now what species of native animal is THAT ??!!!
Some of the more difficult passages have been concreted for safety.

After maybe ten minutes, we reach the next boat...

... and continue on up the Katherine River.

There are actually thirteen gorges but we only explored two.
