Ghan Trip 2008 11

The first three photos on this page were actually taken as we left
the Ghan in Alice Springs, but since I didn't manage to snap any
before we boarded in Darwin, I'm using them out of sequence
so you'll know what it looks like from the outside as well as
the inside.

Getting back into sync now, here's Bill checking out our cabin.
The blue seats fold down into a single bed and the panel above
them opens out to form the top bunk. The bathroom door is on
the left of the photo. You'll see the inside of the bathroom later.
For now, suffice it to say that it was not particularly spacious !

Looking out the window relieved my claustrophobia !
